Miscellany...

This is probably my favorite shot that Darren has taken so far and an example of his work that will be in the shop. We were sitting on the beach in Galveston in the blazing sun and almost out of no where, this storm came up on us. The wind picked up and the temperature dropped about 15 degrees. I'll never forget it.

This was taken on the Bolivar Peninsula. We were visiting Darren's sister and escaped for a few hours for a date night. We took the ferry (will I ever get used to saying that without giggling?)over to the peninsula and Darren captured some shots like these. I love sunset...

And this is me my senior year of high school. Not taken by Darren.

We have someone interested in our house. Hopefully they will make an offer today. I am currently scouring the Internet for gift items for the shop. I am looking for candles, jewelry and maybe some nice beach bags. I want to have some less expensive items to compliment the higher price point art and crafts.
I'll try to get some pictures up from Fat Tuesday...not to be confused with my own personal Fat Thursday I am currently experiencing... We went to the shop Tuesday night to meet with some artists and do some clean up. As we were mopping, we heard the parade coming our way. We took a break and went and collected some beads. And I didn't have to show them nuthin! I can't speak for Darren, though...
